It's the last regional meet.  Let's finish strong!

Thursday, February 12th, 2009 @ Bedford High School

The Events:

• Designer Genes - Students will solve problems using their knowledge of Molecular Genetics, Mendelian Genetics, Biotechnology, and Population Genetics.
• Write It / Do It - One team-mate goes into a room with a built structure.  He/she has to write instructions for his/her other team-mate on how to build it again from scrath.
• Disease Detectives - Students will use their investigative skills in the scientific study of disease, injury, health, and disability in populations or groups of people with a focus on the effects of population growth on public health outcomes.
• Trajectory - Teams will design, construct, and calibrate a device capable of launching a projectile into a target area and collect data to develop a series of graphs relating launch configuration to target distance and height.

Also, the sweatshirt design is ready and will be posted soon.  In addition, we will be (finally) assigning states events and relaying the choices to you guys in an upcoming meet.
